If everything went well and I was financially independent and healthy, I would choose to live in a metropolitan neighborhood, closer to my family and friends. As much as I want to live independently with my partner, I also want to have the option to meet my loved ones without having to worry about them. If I have control, I want to be fully in control of my choices, decisions, and approach to life. Had I limited options due to illness or disability and not be able to live alone, I would want to move into assisted living, as I still want to live my way. If I am staying with my partner, I would like to move into an assisted facility where they have opportunities for both of us.
